Greetings,
I want to apply as a PCA and Lifestyle assistant.
In my current position at BlueCross and Saphire Care, I am providing companion ship and care to elderly people. Documenting residents’ behaviour in terms of mental status, sleeping and eating patterns in medical record books, monitoring and assisting residents through individual service plans and assisting with individual, family and group counselling sessions are my main domains to work in. To enhance the potential of the residents, Montessori and Regio Amelia approach is my favourite disposition while at work to encourage and help residents, in order to keep up and sustain their social contact and sensory skills.
Have obtained certificates after training from Bluecross such as Meaningful Engagement in Dementia, a clean full Vic License and drive my own vehicle.
