My name is Chin and I am currently studying both certificate III in Individual support as well as a Bachelor of Health Science. With my certificate III in Individual Support, I will be finishing my course in less than three months. I have completed 120 hours of work placement experience at Kalyna Care in Delahey. .
In my role as a Personal care worker, I have developed strong skills in assisting residents with activities of daily living and household chores. My areas of expertise include:
• Creating and maintaining a safe, orderly, and healthy environment.
• Supporting patients and residents in personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Washing and changing linens.
• Helping patients with medication administration.
Furthermore, I am bilingual (Burmese and English) and have excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. My supervisors and co-workers have recognized me as a compassionate and friendly professional.
