| A senior citizen myself now, I am still very fit both mentally and physically. I feel I still have something to give after the end of my working career and with my nurturing nature I could imagine nothing better than to be able to help people in need. While I do not have professional experience in a care capacity, I have cared for an ill father. As a mother I had to be present and supportive of a child with ADHD. Both situations required patience and compassion. I hope to be able to apply my personal experiences in helping others.

| I have over 4 weeks exsperience as pca/pcw i know how use proper mobility support, how bath in bed/ shower, dress, how confront mental heath issues and physical issues. I'm a great person to talk to be shoulder lean on and i love taking care people. being able focus on one person at a time can help me give best possible care.

I love to go above and beyond with my level of care - and thrive on making a difference to the lives of others. I have a Certificate III, as an Individual Support Worker (Aged Care). I have worked with the elderly and also with a 14 year old client with intellectual and physical disabilities.

| I have worked in ages care as a Food Services Assistant. My knowledge in Education, Guidance abs Counselling, coupled with my teaching experience abs interaction with both young and elderly people motivated me to change career. My empathetic , love abs care nature as demonstrated when I single handed lay took care of my late mum abs others when they were ill and old respectively encouraged me to pursue a career in aged care and I’m almost completing my training in Certificate III in Individual Support ( Ageing and Disability)at WCIG .

| I have worked in aged care for 10+ years in a variety of areas, most recently in home based care, but I have also worked as a PCA in aged care centres & I have also worked as a an activities person in aged care providing all activities for residents, including playing guitar & ukulele for the residents, driving the mini bus too take residents on outings including morning melodies ect. And a wide range of other various activities in aged care centres. In my most recent roles as home based caregiver I have been fortunate to develop rewarding connections to many clients, & have had great feedback back for nearly all whom I’ve worked with. I am still a very healthy & motivated person.
