Hello there! We are looking for a reliable and friendly housekeeper / chef who would be interested in regularly assisting our family in Kooyong for 3-4 hours each week. We would like the person to be: - passionate about cooking and confident with creating healthy and delicious snacks (for a toddler and during post partum period); - willing to fold and put away washing, iron shirts and assist with a general tidy up of the house (put toys away, unpack dishwasher); - put away online grocery and clean out fridge; - able to take initiative to keep the house in order. I am Jolie, a paediatrician, and my husband is Dave (runs a swim school). We live next to the Botanic Gardens in South Yarra and have two kids aged 2 years, and 9 months, and a little Jack Russel terrier. Life is pretty busy and I would love more time with my kids and less running the house! We are looking for a regular person to help us out for about 3 hours, around 3 afternoons per week (days and hours flexible), to help carry the mental load of running the house (e.g. noticing when the plants need watering, doing online Woolies shop, prepping dinner, noticing things around the house that could be cleaned or organised). We keep a tidy but not perfectly clean house and are pretty easy going (I think lol). If you and the kids get along then we can also chat about babysitting (only if you wish).
