Looking for an experienced Nanny for our 2 year old.
Hours/Days:
- 5-8pm - 2 days a week (potential to increase to 3 over time). Also looking for someone with availability during the day (typically with 24 hour notice) for when the little one is sick or unable to go to daycare.
Responsibilities:
• First and foremost being a caring, responsive, kind and fun carer for our playful 2 year old
• Supervising and ensuring our daughters safety and wellbeing at all times
• Organising age-appropriate, varied and engaging indoor/outdoor play and other activities
• Planning, preparing, and cleaning up healthy balanced meals and snacks
• Supporting baby’s naps in a flexible and responsive manner
• Attending to her toileting and hygiene needs (e.g. changing nappy)
• Child-related tidying and light cleaning (e.g. cleaning the changing station, keeping child's rooms clean and tidy, cleaning up after the child's meal or play session)
• Assistance with light household chores if time permits after completing child-related duties
Must-have criteria:
• National Criminal Record Check and Working With Children Check
• First aid certificate
• Minimum 12 months experience as a professional nanny or early childhood educator working with children under 2 years of age
• Minimum 2 references
Nice to have:
• Full driver licence
• Formal qualification in early childhood education or related field
