A professional and loving family in Darlinghurst are seeking a bubbly, kind and patient nanny/mothers support to care for their 2 creative girls, aged 4 and 2 and a newborn baby girl, due in March, 2025. This is a mother’s support role and extra care will be required while mum recovers from her c-section in March. The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows- * To care for the girls (the older two girls are at daycare 3 to 4 days per week so mainly caring for them after daycare and when they are at home with mum) * daycare pick ups (dad will drop off in mornings) * Play and engage age appropriate activities with the two older children * Prepare snacks and meals for the children * Unpack school bags & organise for the following day * Assist with some light household duties, washing and folding family laundry, packing/unpacking dishwasher * Run errands and grocery shopping occasionally * Generally keeping main areas clean and tidy Start Date: 17 March 2025 Contract Length: Long Term Permanent Pay: $40 per hour including super + holiday/sick leave The days and normal hours are:- 4 days per week (potentially 5 days if more suitable for nanny) – 25 to 35 hours Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – 1.00pm – 6.30pm (and potentially Tuesday if nanny desires 8:30am to 6:30pm) The family’s expectations from their nanny are- * Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny/child care experience * Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one) * Have a current working with children’s check * Display strong communication skills and speak English * To be fit, healthy and active * Honest and reliable * Quick thinker/good problem solver * Non smoking/vaping * Up to date with all vaccinations * NSW Drivers Licence and clean driving record
