My Husband & I own and operate 4 businesses in the Hospitality field; although this keeps us busy and requires a lot of our time our main priority is our beautiful children: 9yo son and 6yo daughter. As we work hard to build our business to create the perfect work/life balance our children do still require care, as our hours of work are often outside those of school. We love the outdoors, especially swimming, both children are creative and love drama! We also love animals and have 2 small dogs, a lizard, 2 rabbits and a bee hive! Sunday is our dedicated family day and we love to go to the farmers markets or explore the beach. Our ideal carer would be outgoing, engaging and lots of fun. Someone who is nurturing and loving but also strong in character who can set boundaries and discipline along the way. As we see this carer would become part of our family as we grow and hope this would be a long-term role until our children are in high-school. The right carer would have some experience either in early education/primary education or past experience working with children in a learning environment. We also previously had a house cleaner twice a week and are wanting to roll this service into our Nanny position to make a more financially stable and secure position for the right candidate. This would include changing bed sheets each week, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming and mopping; and general tidying - all of which can be done during the hours the children are at school. After school pick up, we would love the children do have some outdoor activity, either going to the park or playing at home; before looking to so some reading for school homework. Light meal prep occasionally required for weekdays. Saturday generally would be a 12 hour shift, and a planned outing would be preferred or planned activities during the day at home, full dinner/bath/bed routine required for this day. Due to the nature of our work in event catering there are upcoming dates that we would require additional hours of care for weekdays and some Sundays. Full calendar to be provided on application. Required: WWC, driver’s license and own reliable car. The right person will be employed and paid at least the legal minimum wage, including superannuation and penalty rates

We need someone to collect our son from Hill Primary at 3pm three days (Monday, Tuesday and Friday) per week and drop off at Primary School (MHPS) Oosh. ie about 1 hour per day. IF you would prefer more hours, we will also consider THPS pick up for child 1, plus MHPS pick up for child 2, and after school care at our house for both children for 2 - 3 hours per day instead of Oosh.
