I have two fun and fabulous kids (13 F and 10M) who feel too old for a baby-sitter, but mum’s got to work!! This gig isn’t tricky, I’m looking for someone to have fun with two great kids (and keep them off their screens!) You’ll need to be happy riding a bike, maybe visiting the local pool and probably baking and eating cakes. Please let us know if you’re handy with a tennis racket! Hours 8-5pm each day, with the possibility for more work in Jan if this is successful.

We live in Magill 5072 and need help looking after 2 children. We are looking for a reliable and experienced babysitter or nanny to help us out out as we are struggling to juggle school drop-offs, pick-ups and the demands of two careers. Grandparents provide us lots of assistance, but one set is still working and the other set needs a break from time to time/ has other commitments. We are seeking someone to assist us one or two days a week with school pick-ups and care (for our 4 year old) until parents get home. Once we find the right person there will be scope for more work at times/ we will need ad hoc support for Mum in the evenings (with at least one weeks' notice given) when Dad travels for work (approx every 4-6 weeks). Lastly, we also want someone we can trust to babysit in the evenings every couple of months if we want to go out to dinner. After school shifts will be 2.30 -6pm (ie 3.5 hours duration). We are hoping to introduce the person to our kids (4 year old daughter and 18 month old son) slowly, maybe once or twice with Mum present and start them in the next few weeks, with assistance required from March onwards. The position will be ongoing (not necessarily capped at 12 months), and we may require one full day care a week in the moneys of May for our 18 month old (when grandparents are unavailable). We are happy to be flexible with the days that this candidate can assist, if we find the right person, but ideally will need someone who is free on 2 afternoons out of Mon, Tues, Thurs or Fri (Mum is at home on Wednesdays).
