My husband and I live in Manly (4179) in Brisbane with our 4 year old daughter and our 1.5 year old son, and we’re looking to have someone help us mind both our children (sometimes only our son if our daughter is at kindy). There will also be some light housekeeping and sometimes simple cooking mainly for the kids. 4-5 hours per shift, and we’re somewhat flexible with days. There is potential for more hours/days and the occasional evening shift as well. Our daughter has plenty of energy, is very confident, creative, funny and sweet - and our son is a very happy little boy who loves to sing, climb and cuddle. My husband works long hours mainly from home (so you’ll see a lot of both of us during the day). We’re a very loving family, and we’re looking for someone who will be equally warm and playful with our children. The day will mainly include some household shores and playing with our kids in our home or at the playground. Hopefully you’ll be able to work with us long term! What we’re after ideally; • Previous experience with minding young children required • If not from Australia, plans to stay long term in Brisbane preferred • CPR/first aid knowledge • Non smoker required • Young or older - doesn’t matter as long as you love kids and you’re experienced. Our lively but loving family are seeking a nanny please, to assist on a weekly basis from 3.30pm to 7.30pm each Monday, and 1.30pm to 7.30pm each Thursday. Essentially looking for an extra set of hands on deck to help care for our 3 boys, aged 5, 3 and 1 and light household chores including dinner, cleaning up, maybe some laundry and preparing for the next day. Also, some ad hoc babysitting from time to time. We’re located in Manly for now, though will be moving back into our home (which is currently being renovated) in Camp Hill sometime in the next couple of months. Willing to pay market rate of $30 to $35 per hour (?) or thereabouts and open to negotiation too. Also would like to see a blue card and first aid certifications please.
