Hello All! I am a vaccinated, non-smoking, Midwest-born college grad with 20+ years working with people from newborns-96 years old. I've done 10+ years of private nannying, work in day care centers and day camps, background in special needs, and most recently first-time parents with new infants (which I'm LOVING). I have taken graduate courses in health sciences and have worked in behavioral therapy and specialty learning. I excel at working with individuals and families with their human development needs in their entirety. My holistic approach facilitates balanced growth. I recently finished full-time with the only child of a Pediatrician who began daycare. I had a full-time job. I worked for one family for a little over 1 year. I am a student at Harper College, and care giving is my major. When I started working for this family the kids were 5 and 7, a boy and girl. I just recently stopped working there because the mom could take care of her kids on her own. I took care of the kids until they were 6 and 8. My responsibilities were to pick them up from school, help with homework, feed them, and just take care of them, play games, do activities, go outside, or to the park. They were great. I loved being with them. I am comfortable with really any age child. I love spending time with children. I'm 22, and do not have children of my own yet, but I do have a little brother who is 7. I took a big part in helping my mother with everything since he was born. Everyone always said I was like his second mother. We also have a dog, who's crazy and playful, so I'm comfortable with any pet. I've also had a turtle and my older brother had a snake. So no pet bothers me. I do speak, read and write fluent Polish and English. I love playing games with kids, going outside whether it's the park, a walk, or just being outside. I love arts and crafts; that is my hobby and I know many kids love it too. Overall I enjoy spending time with kids of all ages, having a good time yet sticking to the parents' rules. I now have a baby of my own; she is 8 months old, and I would love to be able to continue being a nanny, if you would be OK with letting me bring her along. I can handle it all, I promise. I have had experience with multiple children as I have said before. In addition before I had my daughter I worked with baby twins (7-8 months old at the time) last year and it was great. It was a lot of work, from feeding to changing diapers, playing, putting them to bed, taking walks etc., but I handled it perfectly. I worked there from 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday until I was further along in my pregnancy so they found someone else. So please give me a chance, I understand not everyone is OK with that idea but please think about it as I wouldn't let anyone down. Thank you.

Currently I have enjoyed nanny/Babysitter positions for several families throughout past 6 years. The children and I have enjoyed many activities and adventures together. For the past 20 years, I have worked in early childhood development, ages newborn to 12 including, children with special needs. Previous to that, I spent 5 years working in a behavioral program in a high school. I am an active person. Some of my hobbies include, tennis, horseback riding, and hiking.
