I strive to administer one-on-one care that meets the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of each child. I ensure a safe, caring, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which children can thrive and develop. I have 12 years of experience in the child care and teaching industry. I started working at a daycare at 18 years old, where I spent three years before moving into nannying and teaching privately for families. I found I enjoy the one on one atmosphere since it allows me to focus on each child's specific needs and learning styles. I am creative and strive to make your child's day engaging, educational, and fun! I currently nanny for a family with 2 children who I've been with for 3 years. At this point they only need me once a week, so I am opening up my availability for a new family.

I currently work for Boy's and Girl's Club of Kentuckiana and recently worked at Uspiritus Bellewood with children in a residential treatment facility. I am trained in the Boys' Town Psycho-Educational model of behavior modification and Safe Crises Management. I am also current on my CPR and First Aid training as well as tested negative for TB at the end of October. I am looking for work to allow me to study for my GRE and prepare for graduate school in the fall of 2015 or in 2016. While attending the University of Louisville, I was an intern in charge of the 0-4-year-old group to care for the youngest children in our Resilient Families Project program. After graduating with my degree in Psychology, I have worked at the Clark County Youth Shelter and the Uspiritus Bellewood campus caring for children who are typically wards of the state. I also spent 6 months as a brain trainer at Learning Rx where I encouraged cognitive brain development with children ages 8-18. I have a firm background in positive reinforcement techniques with children to create a positive and nurturing environment. I have also worked directly with behavior modification focusing on compassionate forms of conditioning. I am a strong believer in education and healthy activities to encourage a lifetime of growth for the youth I work with. Reading, physical activity, exploration, educational activities, and positive structure are all things I strive to help children enjoy doing in hopes they will want to continue doing them on their own. Finally, I spent a year working as an intern at a non-profit which trains service dogs for people which physical disabilities (I am very comfortable and good with pets; will train some as part of my job duties).

I have recently retired and have spent many years caring for my own dogs as well as many others that have needed help with their dogs, cats and fish. I love all animals, but mostly dogs and consider them angels on earth! Would love to care for your pets in my free time!

Human Services Professional with Bachelor's degree from the University of Louisville. I have worked with children since 2007 in various roles including in-classroom mentoring, elementary age child care, and direct support (community living support, personal assistance, community access and respite care). I have also been actively involved with a nonprofit assisting those with intellectual and developmental disabilities and have been for the last two years, as well as a 10 year mentor relationship with a local teen that began in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. I have six years experience working on private Medicaid Waivers (SCL and MPW). My name is Olivia and I am a 31-year-old currently staying home with our first baby (born in September). I am looking for part time weekday hours (starting in January 2022) where I can potentially bring my infant along with me. Last year, I worked as a certified teacher in Early Childhood and for the past few years I have worked as a Developmental Interventionist for First Steps, serving families with children ages 0-3 with developmental delays. I have a Bachelor's degree majoring in Elementary Education with dual certification in Early Childhood Education and obtained my Master's at the University of the Cumberland's in the Literacy Specialist program. After college, I worked as an elementary school teacher and as preschool teacher in both the public and private school settings. I love spending time with children and helping foster their growth as happy, young people. I also enjoy yoga, going on runs with my husband, listening to music, and reading a great story.

Hello! My name is Alex. I am 32 years old, a graduate of The University of Louisville (Communications) and a current Project Coordinator for a Construction Development Management Company here in Atlanta. Before my current role, I was a preschool teacher at The Mount Vernon School, and prior to that, I nannied for a family for 4 years. I've had LOTS of childcare experience mostly because I enjoy being around them! I'm looking for a family who only needs help on weekends as I do have a full-time employment.

I have worked in a professional child care setting for almost 11 years. During my time spent in the child care center I worked with children from six weeks of age to 3 years old. I was responsible for planning developmentally appropriate activities for the children to help develop their cognitive skills and language development as well as gross and fine motor skills. I take great joy in watching children develop and aiding in their developmental progress. I have been certified in adult, child, and infant first aid and CPR.
