I am looking to give a helping hand to anyone who needs it! I have many years of babysitting experience and am extremely organized and willing to help around the house with any errands, household chores, laundry, event planning, childcare, etc. I love playing with all kinds of children and providing fun activities for them to do. I have been babysitting for about 15 years ranging from infants to 13-year-old's so I have a wide range of experience!

I have been a sitter/caregiver for more than 10 years and have loved every moment of it. I have been a special education teacher for 7 years working with a variety of needs and abilities. I am a believer in learning through play and exploration, therefore whenever I work with a child, I try to integrate learning and growth opportunities through play. I was a nanny for a time, and my responsibilities included grocery shopping, cleaning, meal prep, and childcare. I would love the opportunity to provide childcare, adult care, nannying, petsitting, or other duties for you so that you are able to focus on other tasks without having to worry about your family or home.

As a former classroom teacher of 8 years, I am passionate about helping students to overcome obstacles and unlock their potential. I subscribe to the Montessori teaching philosophy, which is very individualized. Knowing that every student is unique is vital to being an effective tutor. I particularly enjoy teaching early and remedial reading, math, and science. I am pursuing accreditation in the Wilson Reading System, which is an Orton-Gillingham related approach to teaching reading.

I have over 7+ years of babysitting/nanny experience. I was an adult ICU-trained nurse for multiple years and worked in the NICU setting while in nursing school. I have extensive CPR and emergency training and will get re-certified if necessary. Last year, I stepped away from the hospital setting and decided to embrace a more holistic approach to helping people heal. I have enjoyed learning new methodologies and ways of thinking about health but with more free time on my hands, I decided to pursue a part-time caretaker role. I LOVE pets, so pets in the home are a welcome addition. My two vehicles (2021 or newer) both have 4-wheel drive and are capable of getting around the mountains. I have been in the childcare business for over 20 years. I have cared for and taught children of all ages, and in multiple settings, ranging from basic babysitting, to teaching, to nannying. I enjoy doing everything related to caring for and training up children, including some cooking, light housework, and errands. I'm more than happy to provide references upon request!

Since high school, I have been caring for children. I spent several years volunteering at a yearly daycare opportunity through my school as well as volunteering at a Vacation Bible School. I have also taken some classes on child care and development, including training in SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). I have worked at a daycare (primarily with infants through 3 years old). I spent several years teaching middle and high schoolers, but am now nsnnying. Since becoming a nanny, I have worked with infants, toddlers, and a child with special needs. I believe that every child is unique and wonderful, and should be treated that way.

I retired after 28 years in a professional position with a federal agency. While I was in college, I worked in a preschool, where I taught 21 very active 2-year-olds. I have an adult son, who has a MBA degree and is an Assistant Director in a federal agency. I have many years of experience taking care of children and working with youth. I was a substitute teacher in the Atlanta area for many years and I am currently employed as a substitute teacher on Amelia Island. I am available days, evenings and on weekends. I have a master's degree and previously held a top secret security clearance. I am currently certified in CPR and First Aid.

Hi, I'm Brooke! Growing up in a large family of eight children allowed me to gain a lot of perspective and interpersonal skills at a young age. I was born and raised in southeast Georgia and graduated from UGA last year with a B. S. in horticulture. I have been nannying for the past six years and I really enjoy being able to spend time working with children while encouraging them in learning, personal growth, and self-expression.
