Spent my childhood on a ranch. Responsibility was to the cats and dogs. Currently, have my own dog who is very well cared for. Also pet sit a puppy for a friend on a regular basis.

I am a 49-year-old mother of 2 daughters ages 20 & 23. My older daughter just started graduate school and will be a teacher in a second grade classroom come August. My young one is going into her junior year . I have taken care of children . I have been a babysitter, nanny and Head Preschool teacher. My undergraduate degree was in Psychology, with a minor in Child Development . I got my masters in psychology from Chapman University and worked as a Mental Health Counselor for 15 years. I left my career 6 years ago and have been a nanny once again. My true passion. I have experience with children of all ages. Age dependent, we do such things as walks, Museum, library story time, Jumping Around the beach and a variety of parks in the area. I have several references. I am 24 years old and just moved back to Southern California from the Bay Area where I lived for 5 years. I'm currently in the process of becoming a substitute teacher and I am looking to provide tutoring services in the meantime. I have 3+ years of tutoring/teaching experience with a focus on literacy. From 2009-2011, I ran the day-to-day operations of a literacy tutoring center. Along with personally tutoring 8-10 students per week, I coached more than 30 community volunteers on how to successfully tutor students. I hold them to high standards, encourage lifelong learning, higher education, and good habits while helping build self-esteem, responsibility, independence and teamwork.
