Hi! My name is Marisa, and I have been a Special Education teacher for 7 years. I received my Masters Degree in Education from Penn State in 2024, and graduated from Seton Hall in 2017 with my B. S. E. in Elementary Education and Environmental Studies. I have been teaching 4th Grade Special Education for the past 7 years and am trained in Phonics programs (Orton Gillingham) and specialized multi-sensory math programs. I also have experience supporting a range of behaviors in elementary school children. I am dynamic and outgoing individual who enjoys taking care of children. Hello Everyone. My name is Caitlin, I am from the small town of Dayton, in Southern Maine. I am currently a full time employee working for a running company in Manhattan doing event operations. My job takes up a great deal of my time but I'm looking for some extra money to pay down some medical debt and missing looking after little ones! I have loved working with children for as long as I can remember. I started babysitting when I was 12, and helping out at a family friends day care/preschool until I was 16. I coached youth field hockey my four years of high school. I have been a fully time nanny for three families. - 2-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl - 7-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy - 2-year-old twin boy and girl. All of these families were very different because of the ages but I loved the experiences with each of them. In college I also worked at a co-ed sleep away summer camp for children ages 6-16. I have also cared for my 3 nieces and two nephews who are now 8. 6, 5, and 2 years old. I am CPR certified, have a clean driving record and have worked with children from newborns to adolescents. At these various positions I have been responsible for child care, activities, light housework, meal preparation, tutoring, among other needs. Looking to be a steady date night baby sitter or weekend activity playmate when parents needs to get some errands or other activities done. Willing to do overnights or other extended weekend stays that my schedule will allow. Live on the upper east side but willing to travel.
