Experienced Nanny Seeking Part-time/Full-time Position.
I am a very happily married mother of three children, ages 7, 9, and 12. I have an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been at home with my children for the past 12 years, and am currently a part-time nanny to a 3-year-old girl. I have been watching her three days a week for the past three school years. She will be attending preschool in the fall. I am also currently the nanny for a family with four children, ages 11 months, 3 years, 4 years, and 5 years. My previous experience in childcare includes being a full-time nanny for a family with five children, including 6-month-old twin girls. I have also been a nanny for other multiple child families, ages 6 months to 12 years, another of which had 6-month-old twins. I also have experience working in a preschool/daycare setting, both full-time and on a permanent substitute basis. I feel that I would be the ideal nanny for someone looking for a loving, patient, intelligent, fun-spirited and experienced childcare provider. I believe that all children are individuals who learn and experience life in their own unique ways. I know that I will be someone that will enrich your family and children's lives, and assure you that they will treated as individuals and be encouraged to grow into happy, healthy, well-rounded, independent individuals. I truly enjoy all aspects of childcare. I have plenty of experience with all the "tough" stuff, teething, colic, spitting up, potty-training, tantrums, time out, nap dropping, picky eating, and even biting, vomiting, growing out of cribs, diaper rashes, ear infections, febrile seizures, asthma, epi-pens. You name it, I've experienced it, dealt with it and most definitely got through it. All the while, enjoying the more frequent "wonderful" stuff, first smiles, first teeth, first solid foods, first belly laughs, first rollovers, first crawls (all kinds), first attempts at walking, first steps, first baths, first at bats, first in nets, favorite books (over and over and over again), and favorite songs. Overall, I don't believe there is a job that gives you more fulfillment than that of a child caregiver. I know this was supposed to be brief, so I will wrap it up by saying that I know that choosing your nanny is probably one of the most stressful and important decisions you can make. I hope that you find exactly what you're looking for, and if it is me, I know that we will form a wonderful and lasting partnership that will make it all worth it in the end!
