Hello! Welcome to my profile (: My name is Sarah and I recently graduated from CSUN this past May! I have a lot of experience from different areas as in babysitting, school setting, and always being around children my whole life! I started off as the family and friend babysitter when I was in high school. When I graduated I opened up my Care account and started working with families around my area. I then received an opportunity to work at the elementary school I attended as an after school mentor (yay!!). Here, I started as a reading interventionist where I held small pods of reading help with a few students that needed an extra push. I can proudly say that I helped them reach their reading level before they needed too and they continued to improve! I then received my first classroom of 2nd and 3rd graders for the remainder of the year. For the next year, I had a classroom of 4th graders! I also had my own enrichment classes of art, cooking, and soccer.

I have been caring for children for a really long time. I am the oldest of four kids and always helped out my mom. As I've now been a nanny for a few years I want to continue to care for children and learn about them. I am also working towards a degree in child development and one day hope to opening up my own daycare!

I'm a professional career nanny 25plus years. I take pride in being a nanny. I'm CPR/first aid certified, neg t. b., MMR and, pertussis vaccinated, Covid vaccinated, recent flu shot, E. C. E units, I also have a degree with ICS (in childcare) I'm Truslined. Activities I enjoy doing with children going to the park, walks, reading, talking to them, crafting, tummy time, meeting milestones (Infants), introducing early childhood learning. I see each child for the wonderful person that they are. I believe that children have more to teach us than we have to teach them. Through the eyes of a child, the world is as it should be. Childhood is such a beautiful and important time. As a caregiver, I encourage art, music, culture, imagination, emotional intelligence, and kindness, to name a few. I am a mother of three kids, now they grown to be adults and the youngest is 18 years old. I have been working as nanny since I was 16 years old. I love kids, maybe because I grew up in a family of 6 siblings so I was always surrounded with little kids. I am very responsible and patient with kids. I like to do all kinds of activity indoors and outdoors. I like to take them to parks, museums, library, walks if the parents are okay with it! I started working as a nanny since my first child was born in 1997. My baby was 2 weeks old when I started babysitting for a 3-month-old baby girl, but because the circle of life has to go on, they both grew so fast that they started school when they where 5 years old. I have been in this field for more than 20 years! I am a very responsible and caring person. I like to be punctual at work and be a team player with the parents, I like to respect the parents schedule and fallow their rules! I'm available to work weekends and date nights too!!

I've been babysitting for more than 8 years. I have two children of my own. I love kids because they are fun. I love taking kids to adventures, local libraries, museums, parks, reading, dancing, singing and be silly. I have my D. L, CPR and good references.
