Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts

My name is Tori and I am a 24-year-old female. I graduated from Massachusetts of Liberal Arts in 2010 with a BA interdisciplinary studies. The college was in North Adams MA, in the beautiful Berkshires. My areas of concentration were sociology and psychology. I also studied early childhood education. I currently have not obtained the education degree, but I am still working on passing the MTEL's. I do feel fortunate to have been able to benefit from the wonderful courses provided at the college and studied early childhood education. I moved to North Carolina after I graduated. I was an infant/toddler teacher at a daycare. After several months of working there I was promoted to the assistant director position. Unfortunately, the owner sold the daycare and I moved back up North. Currently, I am a community support worker working with youth and adolescents in a mental health field. As you can see, I absolutely love working with children and impacting people's lives. I have been living in Pittsfield for a year and I am very interested to move to Boston by the fall. I want to be involved as a nanny. I am creative and energetic. I love coming up with new arts and craft ideas, fun activities kids of all ages would love and also caring for the needs of the children. I love going for walks, to parks, pools, hiking, etc. I am very flexible and ready to meet any families needs. Hope this is helpful in getting to know me. Feel free to ask me anything!

I have watched children ranging in ages 6 months up to 12 years old. I have been watching children for over 10 years and I absolutely love it. I like to do arts and crafts as well as be outside to play whenever the weather cooperates. I have worked with children with special needs as well and have some training in that area. I have two little boys of my own.

I have been babysitting since I was about age 12. I have worked in day cares, camps, YMCAs, and after school programs. I love working with children and feel who they spend their time with is really important in who they become. I have been nannying full time for about 15 years now but. im looking for some side work. I am CPR/AED, First Aid, and LG certified. I also hold EEC certifications. I am from the Newburyport area and love it here. I enjoy reading, crafts, skiing and sailing. During the summer I spend as much time on the beach or out on the water as possible! I look forward to meeting you!

Patient and understanding math tutor available to tutor math Wednesday and Friday mornings for home school students in grades 5-10. I am licensed in Massachusetts to teach grades 5-8 math and have been tutoring math at the middle and high school level for several years in a private setting and for two years in a public high school setting. I also have 10 years experience working with regular ed and special ed students at the middle school level as an Instructional Assistant. I strive to build skills and confidence while building a non judgmental, trusting relationship with students. I enjoy working with the struggling student as well as the student looking to strengthen their math skills.
