Hello! My name is Nicole and I just moved to Myrtle Beach recently for work. I am currently working as the Assistant Women's Golf Coach at Coastal and am loving the area and the people. My schedule is very flexible and I am looking to help out families for date nights, weekends, etc.! I have experience working with kids from newborn to middle school age. I have worked with kids with special needs as well, so I am very comfortable with that. I nannied in high school for a great family while I was doing homeschooling. I am CPR certified as well. I love getting to know everyone in the family so you are comfortable leaving your kiddos with me. I want the kids to have fun while I'm there by doing crafts, playing games, fun dinners, etc.!

Unfortunately, I am unable to offer recurring availability due to my other jobs and potentially moving soon. However, I am available on an as needed basis scheduled in advance.

I have always loved spending time with children and learning what makes each one special! I started helping out in the church nursery and helping my mom babysit when I was still a kid myself, and that instinct to help and nurture has only grown stronger. My greatest asset when working with children is that I possess a lot of patience. I also encourage children to take every opportunity to learn. I would be happy to help with homework, as well as meals and light housekeeping. I have my own car, I don't smoke, and I'm comfortable with pets.

I worked at a clinic for kids with Autism for a year and a half. I grew up with food allergies and still have them so I am very careful around foods. I am also comfortable with Epipens. I have worked in Celebrate Recovery for numerous years dealing with mental illness. I also have experience as a youth support specialist for teens with complex needs.

I have been a nanny for the past 5 & 1/2 years with amazing families in Alabama and Colorado. Now, the time has come for me to move on to the next wonderful family! My first family I nannied for were beyond incredible. I nannied an absolutely amazing 3-year-old girl during the majority of the day, pick up a fabulous 5-year-old boy from school, and cared for a bright 15-year-old girl for the remainder of the day. I worked for them full time Monday-Friday, and I would have all three full time during the summer. Throughout my time nannying, I potty trained both small children along with helping them to learn and grow through good example. Once I relocated to Colorado it was on to the next! The second family I nannied for were also so amazing to work for, but unfortunately they had to move out of state. I had the pleasure of taking care of a lovely 2-year-old girl and a bubbly 1-year-old boy. Manners and teaching common courtesy is big with me. I encourage them to try new things (food or activity), my motto is: If you don't like it then that's perfectly fine, I am just happy you tried something new and/or different! I am happy to prepare light meals for the children (breakfast and lunch) and help out around the house when it is needed, for example: putting laundry away and doing the dishes. I love animals and are more than happy to help out with them as well!

I have home schooled all three of my children, who have all graduated and have moved on to careers, college or jobs. I enjoyed my children being at home and developed patience because they were with me 24/7. I've worked with children's church doing a puppet ministry. I enjoy pouring my enthusiasm into children and have been a child teacher in various church ministries, such a mom's day out at Church of the Cross in Anniston, Al. I am currently employed in retail, but desire a job that is daytime only with no weekends.

I have over 15 years of care giving experience both privately and in assisted living situations. I have spent the past 10 years working with kids/teens/adults/seniors in a variety of ways. I am physically strong and passionate about serving whoever is in front of me. I have learned to lift heavy adults who cannot weight bear onto horses, in and out of beds/toilets/recliners/cars. Teaching young adults (typical or those with disabilities) in a formal job skills class. I LOVE ALL animals and all children. I have spent 5 years babysitting my 7 nieces and nephews and love raising my 2year old. I recently had to change careers due to required full time weekend commitment. My ex-boss will give an excellent recommendation. I cannot guarantee full time weekend hours but I can be flexible to one time or occasional weekend shifts.
