Hello! I adore children because of their creative imaginations, their unabashed honesty, and there's nothing more cheerful than a child's laughter. I have been babysitting since I was in fourth grade when I started helping my sister watch families with multiple young children. During my summers in high school, I began life guarding and coaching a swimming team. Because of this, I have training in CPR and First Aid. About 4 or 5 years ago, while I was in school to get my associate degree of science, I began part-time nannying for a family with 3 children whom I absolutely adore. Since then, I have nannied and babysat for many families and for children of all ages, ranging from newborns to 16-year-olds. It has become a full-time job for me. Some of the jobs included cooking, housekeeping, and pet sitting. I consider myself better than average in all of these categories. I try to engage kids in healthy eating and like to get them involved in helping to prepare their food. I believe that children need to exercise their imagination and creativity as well as being physically active. I like to teach kids to love the outdoors, playing games and sports and taking walks and going to the playground. Arts and crafts, listening to music, dancing, puzzles and board games are also some fun activities that I like to incorporate with children. I am a huge fan of animals and have no problem helping to take care of family pets, too!

I have previously watched children from as young as 4 months to as old as teenagers. I love working with children and helping them to learn new things. Once I get into nursing, I would love to work in Pediatrics so I can be there to help those children when they need it most.

Hello, I am 62 & married with 1 adult son. I took childcare classes in high school and worked at a daycare center in my senior year along with babysitting. I retired from the business world after 33 years with the same insurance Co. Within days of my retirement I started sitting for a 10-month-old girl 5 days a week which lasted for 4 1/2 years. I am currently watching a 5 yr old & her 7 month sister three days a week (been with family for 6 years). In addition I babysit for others on a regular basis for occasional days/date nights. I am available for a date night or fill in care depending on my availability. I have always enjoyed being around children of all ages and interacting with them. I am a very dependable, caring, and trustworthy individual that you can rely on. I have criminal and child abuse clearance, a clean driving record, and I am also certified in adult/infant CPR and AED.

I have extensive experience caring for pets and homes. I worked in a pet store for 2. 5 years, taking care of store pets including a hedgehog, two cats (one with special needs), and a rabbit. I also pet sat for dogs and cared for boarded pets, including a very chatty Rose-ringed parakeet. As the oldest in a home with five chickens, three cats, a dog, and five kids, I've always embraced responsibility and care. Currently, I live in a home with three cats (two with special needs) and a chicken, providing them with the attention and affection they need.

I have worked at local daycare centers as a Child Care Aide, Assistant Group Supervisor, and a Lead Teacher; which all require clearances (FBI background check, child abuse history clearance, finger prints, criminal background check, etc). I have worked with different age groups (infants to 6 years old.) Working in daycare centers, I have completed tasks such as cleaning (disinfecting the play and kitchen areas), dressing a child, diaper changes, providing food and an entertaining learning environment. I am also a camp counselor for a children's hospital working with children ages 8-15. I love caring for children and teaching them through play.
