Hello! My name is Natasja (pronounced Natasha). I have a lot of experience with child care, pet care and household maintenance. My responsibilities ranged from cooking/providing meals, transportation to school, homework help, cleaning/keeping the household tidy, organizing entertainment and activities, emotional support/guidance, etc. I currently work as an actor, so I have a flexible schedule between gigs. Hi, I'm Andrea. I'm originally from Florida and moved to New York in 2012 to attend Columbia University. While in school, I majored in psychology with a focus on early childhood development and educational psychology. I formerly worked in a preschool with children from six months to five years (with most time spent in the 6-24 month classroom). I also taught a semester of first grade science in a NYC public school in partnership with the Museum of Natural History. I firmly believe children are competent, intelligent and curious humans who deserve respect and care. I see my role as a babysitter or nanny as helping guide their development and curiosity in a fun, safe and enriching way. I currently live in the East Village and work for an art museum. Hello! I have worked with children my entire career both in the classroom as a preschool teacher, as well as in the home as a nanny. I am a native Dallasite who is returning July 2024 after 2 years in New York. I was there to complete a masters degree in developmental psychology at Columbia. I will be continuing my education here getting an additional maters degree in counseling at SMU. I am taking night classes so I am available for a full time schedule. Though I love all ages, I am most fluent in speaking toddler. The 1-3 year age range is my favorite. I have led toddler classrooms of up to 12 children so I am not easily intimated! I babysat for a family with two children ages 1 and 4 between 2007 and 2008, whenever I was home from college. I was an overnight soccer camp counselor every summer between 2006 to 2009, wherein I was responsible for taking care of children ages 8 to 15. After graduating from college, I intermittently babysat for two different families, while I worked as a paralegal in New York. I recently graduated from law school and am working during the week, but I am available on Friday evenings and all through the weekends.

I am 24 years old and currently live in Manhattan. I graduated from Columbia University School of Nursing this past May (2012) with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. After receiving my New York State RN license in July, I decided to continue my education at Columbia, and am currently studying in their masters program to become a pediatric nurse practitioner. I am also CPR certified and have First Aid training. My experience with childcare started when I was about 13 years old, when my youngest sister was born. I have had much experience babysitting my cousins (who are now 7 and 5) when they were infants as well. I also have experience caring for with toddlers, children, and teenagers. I have no allergies to pets (I actually love them), no dietary/religious restrictions, or anything at all that would affect how I would care for children. I am willing and able to acclimate myself to parents' rules and guidelines in terms of caring for their children. I am also a non-smoker and have a clean driving record (although I do not have a car in the city, but am very comfortable with the public transportation system). When I babysit children, I usually enjoy playing outside, playing board games, playing cards, doing puzzles, etc. depending on the age range. With younger children, I usually enjoy reading books and telling stories. I am very responsible and hardworking, but I love having fun- especially by surrounding myself with kids. Though I have a graduate degree from Columbia in English and am a published author, what has been my dream job is to work with dogs! I simply want to adore what I do, and anyone who knows me also knows I am in love with canine furry friends, also, cats, and, really, any animals ... the classic animal lover. I have two rescue kitties, I had a rescue English Bulldog, and will adopt another when I have my own place again. An ex once sent me a sticker saying, This is you, Gretch!: Sorry I'm late. I saw a dog. I am quite comfortable handling multiple dogs at once, as my family has had three big dogs at one time: a Malamute/Husky mix, Border Collie, and a Retriever/Beagle mix. I also used to volunteer with my sister at an animal shelter. I am an athlete (as well as a drummer), and physical activity is vital for me. Thus, not only do I thrive on walking dogs, but taking them for light runs is equally a pleasure, should this be of interest for you

I am a Columbia University graduate with a BA in psychology and a concentration in education. I have experience with children both in professional as well as personal settings. Currently I am a tutor . Before the pandemic, I was an assistant teacher in an infant room at a preschool. I have worked previously as a teacher in daycare classrooms as well as in the elementary school setting. In the past I've worked as a tutor and as the associate director of education. While at the learning center, I tutored from kindergarten through high school in various subjects which included reading, writing, math and study skills. I have also tutored children privately in reading and math. I am the mother of six children ranging in ages from 8 to 21 years of age.
