I love being around small children. I have experience being around all ages, from newborn to 18 years of age. I do not mind transporting your children, to school, appointments, or practice.

I have over a decade of experience taking care of kids of all ages. I have excellent, local references from families that I worked for for years. I have a bachelors degree in human development with an emphasis in childhood development. I am CPR and first aid certified and I am up to date with all vaccinations. I am looking for a job 5-15 hours a week where I can bring my 17-month-old son (L) with me. I could use the money and I am eager to get L out of the house and socializing with another kiddo. It's a win-win. I am also looking for babysitting jobs that are nights or weekends and for these - I would leave L at home with his Dad. I am extremely dependable and I treat every kid I watch like I would my own kid. I favor redirection and positive reinforcement any day. I am easy to work with and super safety oriented with the kids. I am in the know with all things related to babies and young children because I am constantly researching it for my own child.

I have been watching kids since I was younger, I have a few friends with children and often help take care of them. I am CPR certified and love children. I am not one to turn the TV on and let children watch it, I am more of a hands on babysitter allowing children to play games with me outside or do arts and crafts. Some ideas I have done in the past are finger-painting, make seashell necklaces/ decorations, dancing/music time (I have maracas and tambourines), and puppet shows. I offer English/LA tutoring services. With my degree and history I have lots of experience in the LA field and it is one of my academic strengths. During my student teaching internship I taught essay writing as well as critical reading and thinking. I taught a wide variety of ability levels in my classroom and tailored reading and writing instruction to be able to fit the needs of the student.
