I have two beautiful daughters with a ton of energy who love helping mom clean. With my many years of house cleaning experience, I'm looking to start up a successful cleaning service for you and your friends/family. I have worked at Montana resorts cleaning chalets, condos, suites, and hotel guest rooms. I have cleaned mansions and beautiful homes on the Puget Sound in Washington state. I am a medical school student and have my masters degree in neuroscience from UAB. I have extensive childcare experience, both babysitting and in the clinical/ hospital environment. I am a medical student, who plans on pursuing pediatrics, so I can promise you that your children will be very safe with me. I absolutely adore kids and use a hands-on approach when working with them. I have a strong sense of integrity and possess high moral values as well. I also have a fun-loving personality and am extremely energetic. I enjoy playing outdoors, making arts and crafts and participating in new, exciting, and different types of activities with kids.

I love kids and have been babysitting children of all ages since I was 16 years old. In addition, I have nannied for four different families for at least a semester at a time over the last four years. One family had twin girls. When I began keeping them, they were 4 months old, and I kept them until they were 8 months old, from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. three days a week. Their parents were both nurses and were very organized. I was required to keep detailed logs of our days, noting nap times, feeding times, number of diapers, any problems seen, and any fun things the girls learned or did that day. For one summer, I kept two boys who were 2 and 3 years old, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. , two days a week. I made them breakfast and lunch every day. We played outside a lot, read a lot of books, and used our (their :) imaginations! I loved getting involved and facilitating fun games and activities, encouraging their imaginations. Last year, I started keeping a sweet baby girl two mornings a week from when she was 5 weeks old until she was 5 months old. I learned a lot about caring for newborns and really gained a lot of confidence being able to read them and what they need. For a year, I nannied for a family of three kids- a 1st-grader, 6th-grader, and 8th-grader. I picked them up from school each day, took them home, oversaw homework assignments and anything their mother needed them to do for the day until she got home from work. In addition, I worked at my church nursery and preschool for 2 services every Sunday for a year. I have diapered, fed, hugged, comforted, and played with my fair share of little ones! :) I also have a precious little 9-month-old son! Being a mother is definitely the ultimate childcare experience, and I am loving every minute of it. It is important for me to note that I am looking for a family who is OK with me bringing him with me to keep their children. He is a very laid-back, go-with-the-flow fellow, and is great with other kids. I assure you that my experience keeping multiple children at a time means that I can confidently care for your child/children and him with no problem.

I am currently a full time nanny for a family in West Seattle and have worked for them for 7. 5 years. Their oldest was just 3 months when I started. Over the last two years I have transitioned from only nanny work to now being their house manager part time while the kids are in school. With the kids, I handle play dates, packing lunches, preparing dinner, laundry, homework, taking kids to different lessons, Doctor appts, and General kid management. My experience with children goes all the way back to babysitting at 13. I continued to babysit through college and even lived with a family of 4 little boys for 4 years during that time. I have also been a part of a nanny share and I am very comfortable with multiple babies and children. As you can see I've been with these current kids for a long time and they are my family. As they transition into both being in elementary school this fall, I am looking to start with a new family part time doing morning work.

I have pet sat many times for multiple families for 1-6 weeks at a time. I have had experience staying at the owner's home to care for the pet and also bringing the pet into my home. Some of my responsibilities included: walking, feeding, and taking out the pets, staying over night, and minor housekeeping duties.

I love young children. Since moving back to Birmingham 7 years ago I became the lead infant teacher at a daycare in Vestavia. I was there for 3 years. I then became a nanny for a dentist. My family resided in Columbus, Ga for 13 years prior to my husband's job relocation here. I was a pre-K paraprofessional in a special needs class for 3 years and then an infant/toddler teacher at a preschool for 8 years. I have a lot of experience taking care of children. I am a mom of 3. Two boys ages 23 and 21 and a daughter who is 19.
