Does My Dog Hate Running?

Would love some advice: I love running in the morning with my dogs, but one of them refuses to go faster than a trot! We end up looking pretty hilarious to the neighbors I'm sure. One of my dogs runs out front, I am in the middle, and my other dog lags behind. I actually have to pull him along!
Does anyone have any suggestions for how to get him to run a little faster?
