I plan to spend as much time outdoors with the children, weather permitting as well as trips to the local parks. I provide healthy meals & snacks using whole foods. I don't believe children should eat too much processed food or juices. My teaching philosophy is that I help children learn through play and by exploring their environment. Under my care, daily routines include: daily story time, listening to music and dancing, puzzles, imagination play and art projects using paint and crayons. Snuggle Bear Day Care is dual language in Spanish. I have a dynamic curriculum that incorporates music, dancing, arts, crafts and science into learning. We are always finding creative ways to make learning fun! The day care is also Eco-friendly. We encourage the use of bamboo towels instead of paper towels. Furniture is made of natural materials, no laminate plywood. I also teach the children about recycling and sometimes use recycled materials to make art projects.

I serve healthy meals, many homemade with organic milk, rBTS/rBGH free diary, most veggies/fruits organic, no toxic preservatives or dyes,no artificial colors in cereal, uncured hams, hotdogs. We do not buy pop drinks and we do not use white table sugar. We prefer stevia, honey, agave syrup and maple syrup. No harmful electromagnetic radiation - our router and modem are wired, home phone is corded. I attended an art school for eleven years and I like to do arts and crafts with children. We can sing and play on simple music instruments but piano lessons are optional too. Story times, games, outdoor fun with bubbles, parachute, chalk drawing. Children will have a lot of personal attention, less exposure to germs like you can find in large daycare centers. I can drive them to a preschool and activities as well, outings to parks, library, amusement places if parents agree and sign a permission.
