We are child care center open 6:30 am - 5:30 pm. Monday-Friday. We have our own cook who prepares onsite meals as we provide hot breakfast and lunch and two snacks daily. Toddlers will have a third snack if they are there late in the day. We also have our own transportation system staffed by LPC drivers. We have been nationally accredited by NAEYC since 1994. Our founders are two sisters who were both former public school teachers prior to starting LPC in 1980. Both are still active consultants. We currently have 14 locations in southeastern mass--one in Wareham; one in Mattapoisett; four in Fairhaven; two in Dartmouth and five in New Bedford. We have children aged one month - 12 years old. Our infants are taken on buggy walks daily when weather permits. At our Wareham site, we have one infant room with 7 infants and two staff; four toddler rooms with 7-9 children with two staff each. We also have additional floaters who help when a third person is needed in our baby rooms. Our preschool classrooms range from 18-20 children with two staff and floaters as needed. Our school age program is available for before and after school care with full day care during school closures. We have an open door policy so potential families can visit without making an appointment. Our philosophy is "kids come first".
