In January 2025 we will be looking for a babysitter Monday-Friday for the afternoons to support me (mom who works from home) with infant care. Hours can be flexible, but we are looking for someone Monday-Friday who can stay at the house with me to watch our (by that time) 12-week-old while I work during the day. I have to jump on many calls through the day, and unfortunately don't have the ability to work and take care of little one by myself while home. We have two cats and a dog, and live in a very quiet dead end neighborhood that's perfect for walks, and I imagine much of your time spent here will simply be lounging around our home making sure baby is fed, changed, sleeps! This would be a year round position for anyone interested and again, afternoon hours can be flexible! (Ie. 11-3, 12-4, 1-5, 10-3, etc.)

Hello! Im looking for a regular, once a week sitter for approx. 3 hours during the week while I take care of things out of the house. In time, we may move to a more frequent schedule with the option for date nights and longer stretches of time. She is in the process of transitioning to two naps so hopefully by start time we will have a schedule nailed down. The role will be to play with my baby and keep her company between naps. This can include being the yard or inside the house. We do own a large dog so you must be comfortable with dogs.

The job specifications include picking her up at her school (2 blocks away), walking her home, making her dinner and cleaning up after she's done, bathing her and putting her to bed. We are looking for a full time babysitter/nanny to help with our boys. For the ideal candidate we'd also be open to having this be a live in nanny. Our eldest (Michael) goes to school; he's in transitional kindergarten and our youngest (Emiliano) is home all day. Once he is fully potty trained he will be attending preschool. Mom works full time from home and dad works variable hours and his schedule changes every few months. We want our children to be trilingual in English, Spanish, and Mandarin. The ideal candidate would be fluent in at least two of these. Michael is fluent in all three and Emiliano is fluent in English and understands Spanish and Mandarin. Michael loves to sing, engage in imaginary play, read books, and do arts n craft activities. Emi is more physically active; prefers to go on the playground, go on the bike, and play outside. Michael is very independent, but he needs some support with playing cooperatively with his younger brother. He does need support with eating his meals without getting distracted by imaginary play, his toys, or talking. Emi is potty training and keeping his hands to himself when it comes to his older brother. Both boys play well on their own when separated. The ideal caregiver will be active with the boys when playing 1:1 and also able to facilitate play with them. They will be prepared on a daily basis with a schedule that incorporates activities that are both physically and mentally stimulating for each of our boys. We limit screentime for our boys and prefer that they find other ways to spend their leisure time. Our home has easy parking, we are close to a bus stop less than 5 minute walk, and the Caltrain station. We have two fish in our household that the boys like to feed themselves. Their grandparents have a dog, which you may occasionally interact with when we visit them; it's a Jack Russel terrier mix - small about 20 pounds.
