About the business
As an veteran English teacher of AP Literature, CP 12 English, Honors 10 English, and ESL (22 years) at both the secondary and college levels (for ESL), the greatest deficit I have noticed is Student-Teacher ratio. My business addresses the problem of not enough teacher to go around to give students quality one-on-one mentoring in academic writing. I offer instruction that follows one text in particular in order to address writing problems exhaustively. I also offer assistance in the composition of particular academic papers, though I do NOT write the paper(s) for students.
I am a graduate of both The University of Virginia and The University of Richmond with certification in both English and ESL in the State of Virginia.
I prefer a student to come to my home in Arlington, but for a slightly extra fee will travel to the home of a student who lives within 8-10 miles of my house.
