About the business
I am a wife, mother, and a teacher. I am currently getting my masters in Elementary Education and I am so passionate about working with students to help them become better readers and writers.
While getting my masters, I developed a tutoring process to help students understand why they are struggling with reading/writing, how to have fun with reading/writing, and how to improve with research-based strategies.
In the beginning, I administer a comprehensive reading inventory to pin-point where the student needs extra help (this process usually takes two tutoring sessions). The following sessions include instruction and fun activities tailored to the students unique needs. After 6 sessions, a follow up assessment is given to gauge improvement and to see where the student needs additional help.
