Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid 4th Saturday of each month

The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid course is designed to meet the regulatory and credentialed training outlined in California Code of Regulations Title 22. Social Security Division 9. Prehospital Emergency Medical Services Chapter 1.1. Training Standards for Child Care Providers.

Two-year certification. Cards issued upon successful completion of course (give day of course)

Eight-hour course (California State requirement)

CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

AHA student textbook: "Quick Glance" first aid & CPR/AED reminders
19 page document on Inhaled Medication (title 22 EMSA)
Hands outs
Lots of hands-on practice
