About the business
After travelling to New York many times and seeing the hotdog carts, I decided it was something I wanted to do. So four years ago, I quit my job in the medical field and started my successful hotdog business. The first year, I knocked on doors and sent out flyers and looked for the right spot. Now I'm to the point I have my regular spots and do a lot of special events. I am a member of the Chamber of Commerce and do weekly events for the Bluffs Arts Council. I have been at the Dodge House, the Union Pacific Museum, the annual pride parade and celebration, Special Friends, Grand reopening of Bayliss Park,
YMCA fields, Bass Pro Shop grand opening, Home Depot, and many others. I was voted second best hotdog by The Daily Nonpareil's Viewer Choice awards.
