All of our doctors have a special interest, knowledge and skills in medicine and surgery of dogs, cats, and exotic animals. Dr. K. is also a board certified specialist in feline medicine. Our doctors participate in continuing education seminars, conferences, and instructional workshops to be able to provide the most current and high quality care for all animals. This includes preventative care for when you first bring home your new pet and throughout its life, to diagnosing, treating, and caring for your pet if it should get sick. We strive to provide professional, affordable, and advanced veterinary services. At Serrano Animal and Bird Hospital, you will walk into a welcoming and friendly environment every visit, so the experience is as comfortable as possible for you and your pet. In addition to caring for pets at Serrano Animal and Bird Hospital, Dr. W. is the Veterinarian of Record (VOR) and heads our team of doctors for the Santa Ana Zoo, Orange County Zoo, Orange County Bird of Prey Center, Wildhaven Ranch, California State University at Fullerton, Children's Hospital of Orange County, and Chapman University. Dr. K.is the VOR for Animazonia Wildlife Foundation. Our doctors also work with local, State and Federal wildlife agencies and various biology conservation research organizations and facilities in the Southern California area working with wild carnivores and eagles and their interaction with local urban communities.
