About the business
See Spot Run was established in March 2009 but I have unofficially been in the pet-sitting business for years. After being in recruiting for 20 years, I decided it was time to do what I love, so I've turned in my business suit for tennis shoes.
I am a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and I have lived my entire life with dogs and cats. I am insured and pet First Aid and CPR certified. I've taken the Emergency Animal Rescue Service (EARS) volunteer training program, I have volunteered at the Humane Society of Charlotte, I volunteered with Southern California Lab Rescue and with Lab Rescue of NC, and I got heavily involved in helping reunite the lost Katrina pets with their families after Hurricane Katrina.
I offer traditional in-home care such as dog-sitting, cat-sitting, and dog walking services, but I am also an advocate of exercise. If your dog likes to run, See Spot Run offers dog running for those high energy dogs that would benefit from a good run. Our motto is: A Tired Dog is a Happy Dog! ....... and as you dog owners know, A Happy Dog makes a Happy Owner! See Spot Run also has a Pet Photography division.
