Dr. Shelander has been amazing to work with and help our son realize his full potential. Like most parents, we had reached a breaking point as we tried to help our son who was in middle school and we just could not get through to him which was now starting to affect our relationship. Our son and Dr. Shelander immediately hit it off and his confidence started to increase to a point were we knew he was always prepared for the coming week and realized the best strategies for himself to understand and retain material. At the same time, our son was also applying to several private schools and he ended up being accepted into all the schools partly because of the help he received from SAT. Dr. Shelander has had a dynamic approach with our son which helps him to bring any topics/classes that might be challenging for him. It could be reinforcing what was recently taught in Science, or planning ahead for standardized testing. We were very satisfied with SAT and have referred many parents who now get to take a moment to breathe, like we did, knowing their child is in good hands.
