I boarded my dog with them for four days. I watched for days while she refused to lay on the blue cot they provided for her. I told them I know my girl and I knew she would not lay on it and they said not to worry, they would provide blankets or towels for her to sleep on. I watched for three days as she laid, depressed, on the concrete floor with excrement on the floor in her "deluxe suite". The window I paid extra for was not even accessible to her because it was too high and they placed the blue cot in front of the window so she couldn't even see outside. I coped with this about as well as my girl so I got an early flight and came back. I gave them very short notice. When I arrived, the boarding staff was rushing her upstairs to get the wounds on her elbows treated because they were bloodied from laying on the cold concrete floor. The play room was closed the entire time she was there and the only way I could help her was to continue to remotely activate the camera in her cell via a phone app so the person at the front desk could see on the monitor that momma was "looking". This is not how a pet "retreat" is supposed to operate and I will NEVER leave her at the Rocky Gorge Pet Retreat again.
