Paws N Claws Pet Sitters, LLC was founded by two animal lovers, Rachel F. and Jonathan H. who wanted to follow their passion.

Rachel grew up her entire life around animals, living on a farm, which has grown into a huge passion for taking care of animals. You will often hear her say "If I could take home all the lonely dogs in the world I would." And those sad ASPCA commercials are a sure way to see her cry. She has a huge heart for animals and she makes sure to give plenty of love and attention to each client's loved ones.

Jonathan has always been an animal lover; and if you happen to run into some of his relatives and for some odd reason they start telling you stories of his childhood (of which case I'm sorry!) they will always bring up his adventures of rescuing animals; from putting shells back on the beach, to rushing a bird with a broken wing to the hospital. He has taken his love for animals to the academic field and has a degree in cognitive science, studying animal behavior and psychology.
Together, we have both been caring for animals all our lives, from our small furry and non-furry friends such as hamsters, hedgehogs, gerbils, birds, bunnies, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, and frogs to our larger animal friends; cats, dogs, goats, donkeys, cows and horses. And who can forget our two precious dogs, Kiki (a Maltipoo) and Merlin (a Maltizhu).
