I take the guess work out of dog training by using calm, passive, positive methods to help you train your dog to be the furry family member you desire. I train basic behaviors as well as behavior modification for things like fear, aggression, and anxiety.

Dog training does NOT have a one-size-fits-all method. I focus on training dogs in a way that is most beneficial and understandable to them. It's my job to figure out how your dog is going to learn best, to get the desired outcome, and make the training doable for you and your family, something that can easily transition to your day to day life after I leave your home.

Over the past several years, I've really dived in to understanding HOW dogs communicate and HOW they learn things. By understanding both of these things, we can better open up the line of communication between us and our dogs.

Our dogs don't speak English but they understand our tone. It's when we make associations that our dogs are better able to fit into our world, and understand what we want from them.

The reason the majority of us get dogs is to have that companionship, that love that is unconditional. If we're not taking the time to learn to speak back to them, to let them know we appreciate them just as much as they appreciate us, then I don't feel we're allowing those wonderful relationships to flourish as much as we want them to.

I hope you'll give me the chance to show you that every home I step into becomes my own, even if it's only for an hour. I show every dog the same love and patience that I would show my own.
