About the business
My name is Valerie Brooks and I am a high school Math Tutor. I have a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and Masters of Arts in Mathematics Education from Virginia Tech. After college I worked at Green Hope High School where I taught: Honors Algebra II, Honors Geometry, Special Topics, Math I, Math IA & IB, Honors Pre-Calculus, and Advance Functions and Modeling. After my son was born I decided to be a stay at home mom but couldn't imagine giving up teaching, so now I tutor so I get to do both things I love.
Although my ultimate favorite class to teach is Pre-Calculus, I have taught and tutored all of the following:
