About the business
I'm a math, computer science, and physics tutor with 34 years in the defense industry. I have an undergraduate and professional background in mathematics and computer science. In addition to private clients, I work online with Varsity Tutors (college students) and locally with Prepped and Polished (high school students). Learning a STEM subject requires problem solving. I work with the student to practice basic concepts and build up their skills so that they can build confidence and be successful. I spend the first session getting to know the student so that I can tailor the tutoring experience to their strengths and weaknesses. I know that students have busy schedules, so I will also meet with students in the evenings.
