About the business
I am a licensed child care provider located in Fredericksburg, Va. I have been providing full-time child care services for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, before and after school daycare for Battlefield Elementary School for the last 20 years. During this time, it has become my pleasure to share in the growth of numerous children.
As a mother, I know how important it is to have peace of mind while you are away from your child, and I offer this to you. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to work little children everyday. To have my home be their home away from home! What a joy it is to see their little faces glow when you sit and read, do crafts, sing songs, or just give big bear hugs.
As a committed childcare provider, my sole purpose is to make children feel comfortable, happy, safe, nurtured and loved while in my home.

We found Ms. Madelaine's right when we needed her! She took care of my daughter from ages 3-5, after we had just moved and had a bad experience at another daycare. From the very beginning, you could tell that she loves each one of the children that she watches like their own. Her facility was always safe, clean and fun, and on top of giving the kids a great place to play and grow, she also taught them new things and gave them ample opportunities to learn. She really loved my daughter like she was her own, and my daughter always left with a smile on her face, excited to go back. Madelaine really is the absolute best, and we miss her so much already!

My daughter has attended Ms. Madelaine's daycare since 2016. Ms. Madelaine has provided a safe and clean environment for my daughter to play and learn over the years. She has treated my daughter and I like family and truly cares for all the kids in her care. I would 100% recommend this daycare!

Madelaine is the sweetest, most caring lady one could ever find! She loved my kids like her own, and I felt confident that she would care for them as I would. I'm a former sahm and it was hard to leave my boys, but Madelaine was so good with them. She has the cleanest space I've ever seen, always neat and orderly, and the kids were always engaged in play or fun. I cannot recommend her enough! She is the epitomy of what quality child care looks like.

My children were in Madelaine's care between the ages of 3 months and 5 years old. I trusted her completely and the kids felt like she was their second Mom. I recommend her highly and without reservation. To know your children are well taken care of, by someone who treats them as their own, is worth everything as a parent!

Madelaine was my little boy's care provider. As a mom of a little one, I had many concerns about leaving my baby, but Madelaine eased many of my concerns by demonstrating her wonderful ability to run things smoothly. She is professional, yet maintains a caring, learning, clean, routine, and safe in-home environment for every kid that comes to her home, whether they are a 12-week old or a 12 year old. I have recommended her to others over the years & will continue to say great things about her! Thank you Madelaine!

I highly recommend Ms. Madelaine's daycare. She is warm, friendly as well as professional with both the kids and their parents. We used her services for 7.5 years. I loved being able to have my kids develop a solid and loving relationship with a single provider for their preschool and early elementary school years. Can't say enough good things about Ms. Madelaine.
