About the business
As an in home family daycare provider... We will introduce babies and toddlers to basic concepts, such as manners, by reading to them and playing with them. For example, we will teach young children how to share, respect and take turns by playing games and other activities with other children in the facility.
We will also help preschool-age children prepare for kindergarten. Young children learn from playing, solving problems, questioning, and experimenting. We will use play and other instructional techniques to help children's development. For example, using storytelling and rhyming games to teach language and vocabulary. This will help improve children's social skills by having them work together to build something in the daycare room or teach math by having children count when building with blocks. We will involve the children in creative activities, such as art, dance, and music.
When watching school-age children before and after school. We will assist these children with homework and if providing transportation take them to school and after school activities, such as sports practices and club meetings.

Tanya and Ron are amazing. I was super skeptical about putting my kid in daycare (covid and all the horror stories I had heard of children treating kids badly) When I found the lil munchkins family child care post on care.com I had this feeling. They met with me on a weekend date to tour their facility and were so welcoming and kind. I knew then I found the first daycare I wanted my daughter to go to. They fill up spots fast so if you want to have your child to be excited to go to daycare every day and treated well. Look no further. You will not be disappointed.

My son started Lil Munchkins Family Child Care when he was 5 months old. He is almost 11 months now and we have to move him to another daycare because we moved out of the area. I am so sad because Tania and her husband Ron have been amazing. I am a first time mom and going back to work was difficult. Tania made me feel so comfortable, provided me with daily updates, and was so responsive to my son's needs. She is very collaborative and works with your child's individual sleeping and eating schedule. She is sweet, genuine, and really cares about the children she cares for. She provided my son with quality care and so much love and I will miss taking him to her home! We would definitely go back if we ever find ourselves back in the Chino Hills area.

When my daughter was looking for someone to take care of her 1 yr old daughter, needless to say we both wanted the best of the best. We knew right away we had the right place as she immediately warmed up to Tania and her husband Ron. She was always happy to see them in the morning even after sometimes being a little cranky pants at home getting ready to go. Lil Munchkins is a very loving environment with hugs all around. All of the kids got along so well with one another which speaks loudly for the care they all received. So many wonderful pictures were shared during the day with them playing together. I loved getting Tania's texts! This past year was a challenge for everyone with the pandemic happening, but my granddaughter was NEVER sick, no colds, no runny noses, nothing! She was perfectly healthy the entire time she went there which was over a year. I was heartbroken when my daughter decided to move out of the area as they became family to us and to my granddaughter. I highly recommend Tania to take care of your precious little ones. You will be happy you did!

My daughter has been going to Lil Munchkins Family Child Care since she was 2 years old and she has now turned 4 and decided to place her in a private Pre-K program. However I must say to all parents looking for a friendly, clean, safe, fun, organized, healthy, learning and loving environment... STOP and look no further. THIS IS THE PLACE!! My fears were laid to rest when I learned of this in home family daycare facility. Tania and her family seem to have a complete recipe for all the things parents hope for when they must depend on someone else to care for their child. Tania's commitment to excellence and interaction with the children is incredible and my daughter couldn't get enough of her and within minutes of leaving she already wanted to go back. Year after year many parents have entrusted their child/children in the care and guidance of Tania and her family and I will and have recommended Lil Munchkins to anyone that is looking for the best quality child care hands down. Thank you again for all you've done for me, my daughter and my family.

My children were with Tania and her family prior to relocating to Ventura County and we absolutely loved her like she was part of the family. She provides a structured nurturing environment that is based on respect, love and kindness. My girls genuinely looked forward to being with her as she is a wonderful, kind person that is extremely generous, genuine and engaging. What my husband and I are truly going to miss was the feeling of comfort after dropping them off at Tania's home. She always updated us throughout the day and that is something we have not been able to find out here. She's very active with the kids (reading, arts and crafts, social activities, puzzles, abc's and 123's). My girls always knew they were loved and respected in her home. highly recommend Lil Munchkins as a child care provider because honestly, it is so hard to find a place where your kids have a home away from home and Tania and her family provide that relief hands down. Thank you so much for all that you have done for us!! We will never forget you.

Tania and her family are amazing! She welcomes you and your children into her home and makes you feel like part of the family. She incorporates fun and education throughout the day so the kids are always excited to be there and gain valuable learning experiences. It also amazes me to see how clean, tidy, spotless and organized the kids daily items are; clothes, diapers, bottles, food, books, toys, etc. I feel totally comforted knowing they are in her care during the daily while I'm at work. I cannot express enough how AMAZING Lil' Munchkins Family Child Care is!!!!
Child care is always something as a parent your unsure of when your leaving your children for hours, but my kids ranging from 5yrs and 10months, looooove it here. I have no worries what so ever when I'm away at work. My kids are treated just as if they were apart of the family and my 5 year old never wants to leave there! I highly recommend this facility!!

We absolutely love, love, love Lil' Munchkins Family Child Care!
My children generally were mostly with me all day, every day making it a challenging decision to take them to a daycare.
I was specifically looking for an at home daycare, something that would make it feel more family oriented and comforting for my two small children (ages 3 and 4).
Finding this place was exactly what my family needed, not only did they love the environment but became very close to Tania (the owner) and the other children very quickly! Next thing I knew, my kids didn't want to come home, they'd get up early in the morning wanting to rush to go to their daycare, called it ''Friends House. "
My kids learned how to share, be compassionate and have truly found someone we call family to us.
I cannot express the gratitude my family feels for finding this daycare and the owners who make it so, so special!

Tania is such an amazing person and my son never wants to leave her daycare. I'm so thrilled and satisfied to know how much detail and care she puts into my son and the other kids as well. I can always see how much they all love her and her home. My son has learned valuable social skills, how to play with others and most importantly how to read and count at a very young age. I can't say enough about this daycare and would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for someone who is responsible to care for their child.
