We come to your home when hired for pet sitting, allowing your pet to stay in their safe,comfortable, cozy environment without loud barking, getting stuck in a crate and most of all the exposure to the diseases/infections of other pets when in boarding or day care. Secondly, we offer daily dog walking where your pet can look forward to a delightful walk around the neighborhood for a 1/2 hr or more if desired with a trained,certified, bonded loving caretaker! We focus on the needs of your pet, maybe he or she likes to play ball, toss a Frisbee, walk fast or for the elderly pets, maybe a short, slow walk then go inside for a massage by our own professional pet masseuse (Massage therapist) to comfort your pet from the aches and pains of arthritis. Lisa Harris was made to be with dogs ! Our dogs are very timid and sometimes will run to the other room when we have company. Our dogs (Blue and Zena) adore Lisa ! She took the time to make them both feel comfortable with treats and gentle talk . We would recommend Lisa 10x over to anyone who needs excellent pet care !

I witnessed her with both our rescues (Mikel) (Aliyah ) transform their inability to trust to almost a surrender within 20 minutes. Trustworthy caregiver with a special devotion to the underdogs in life. Our rescue is very timid and sometimes will not come out when a stranger comes in our home, until Lisa came to meet "Oscar " he greeted her at the front door" obviously it was a sign we found the best service for our boy. Oscar and Lisa are great together she walks him and sends me pictures!

This is the best decision my husband has ever made when finding Lisa Harris! We had such excellent care for our 4 felines which allows us to relax our long over due vacation. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the care, love and knowledge from K9-Companion. We had a very long trip which brought 2 caretakers in to our home to split the visits, I was always updated promptly and kept in the loop to who was coming that particular day. Our son was expecting his first child and we needed to have our Bull Mastiff pet sit with very short notice, Lisa came the next day to meet us and literally started that evening! Lisa Harris did a wonderful job caring for our elderly lab Zoey. Lisa was gentle helping her up and down out front steps and even took her for a walk which was the highlight of her week! Zoey trusts Lisa and that says a lot , she can be timid at times and will back away from any new guests the enter our home . John and I have already reserved Lisa for spring break !

We were hesitant to leave our little Sophie with anyone but family until our neighbors referred Lisa Harris K9-Companion owner to us. Sophie met Lisa and instantly became her friend! Lisa Harris and staff have provided my wife and I the piece of mind we have always longed for while at work. K9- companion is the best investment we have made for our two dogs (Charlie /Scooby) both rescue Yorkies with tons of energy. We both work demanding schedules K9-Companion is there to walk them daily and when we travel they provide a great alternative to boarding,,,,,they come into our home and on occasions will spend the nightso they feel safe. This is the company if you haven't considered in home pet care with a very reasonable rate. I must confess the pictures I get from LIsa daily make my day!!😥💩😄😄

I work several hours a day in the medical field. My hours are demanding and taking care of my 5 yr old boxer 'Samuel" became too much so I went on the web looking for a pet care professional with a proven track record to help care for Samuel. I found Ms Harris (K9-comapanion) on Care.com,her web presence with creditials were impressive. Ms Harris was friendly, warm ,compassionate on the phone with a great deal of ZEST which made me feel like she would be perfect for Samuel, she agreed to come meet us the following day to explain her program,rates and availability. Samuel greeted Ms Harris with a wagging tail and wet kisses which said alot about how comfortable he felt in her company. I hired Ms Harris and it was the best investment I could ever give to Sam. He gets walks everyday (1/2 hr) at lunch time and it gives me such a relief knowing he is happy and with great company. K9-COMPANION is fantastic!! I had to travel to Washington last month and called Ms Harris to pet sit Samuel for 5 days, I was amazed how many texts I received from her with pictures assuring me my little guy was in good hands. Samuel LOVES Ms Harris (K9-Companion) I most definitely recommend her services!

Lisa is simply wonderful. She truly cares for my pets and always has their best interest in mind. She walks my anxiety ridden Cocker Spaniel and gives him the TLC that he so greatly needs. Lisa massages Henry when she senses he is having a bad day, and it helps him so much. She is excellent with cats and I just love the pictures I get of my girls. My mind is always at ease when Lisa is stopping by to walk my dog and play with my cats. She is dependable and trustworthy and I am so happy that I found such a wonderful person to care for my pet family. Lisa's heart and love of animals shines through, I would highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a caretaker, you won't be sorry!

We adopted our girl, Annie, from a rescue when she was nine months old. I was not working at that time so I had a lot of time to spend with our big puppy (shepherd mix) on walks, play time and training. I found a new job a few months later and realized how guilty I was going to feel leaving Annie in her crate during the day, but there was no way we could let her have the run of the house. My son recommended we contact Lisa. That was the best recommendation I've ever received! From our first meeting with her, we knew Annie would get the love, exercise, and discipline we couldn't give her during the day. Annie LOVES her new playmate!! My husband and I have the peace of mind knowing that Annie is in good hands while we are at work. I look forward to the text message I receive from Lisa after each visit to let me know how our 'little girl' is doing. From my first meeting with Lisa, I knew she would be a great fit for my 120 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback, Blake. Her great love for animals and genuine interest in their wellbeing was apparent. Blake is characteristically slow-to-warm, but I could tell through Lisa's encouraging words and patient demeanor that she would allow Blake his needed space, and work with him to build trust. Now, Lisa has been walking Monday through Friday for several weeks; and I couldn't be happier with her service! I can see the respect Blake has gained for Lisa, and notice the mutual trust and affection in their growing relationship. I am delighted to see that Lisa handles Blake in the same manner I would, and am at peace while away, knowing that Blake is in extremely competent and loving hands!
