About the business
In 2007, I founded Iuvo Inc.--a Household Management/Executive Personal Assistant/Event Coordination service. The business model is structured in such a way that I would contract my time, some short term and some more consistent but always on a part-time basis to work with multiple clients from various industries and varying needs-- from household management to travel planning, from helping small business start-ups to planning events and house-sitting. This has allowed me to function in a variety of disciplines, making me marketable to the professional community.
I graduated from a university with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. My experiences within the university as well as within various communities, not only in San Diego but in Greece, New York and San Francisco as well, have given me the tools and the social skills needed to maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and community members.
My varied experience, from event coordination to office management, has diversified my capabilities on a professional level. I spent three years coordinating both athletic and leisure events for a student union, with a spirit group, and for an athletics coordination. My work involved negotiating contracts, coordinating publicity, and organizing staff coverage for numerous events.
On an administrative level, as an Office Manager of a Law Firm and an Executive Assistant of a Destination Management Company, my responsibilities included but were not limited to: being the custodian of confidential information, opening and closing of legal files, writing intermediate level motions, answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, filing, calendaring, scheduling, submitting weekly sales reports, planning for corporate annual meeting and making travel arrangements.
I am a highly organized individual both in my personal and professional life. I know that organization is a vital resource in working on a property and/or with a family like yours. In addition to my ability to multi-task, I am very loyal and committed. I strongly feel that my skills and capabilities serve as a benefit to those who need them.
