About the business
Helper Dog Training is a small startup business providing families with services for their pets. Here's a blurb from our flyers:
"Animals who get regular exercise and mental stimulation are happier, calmer, and less destructive. If your household struggles with providing the amount of exercise they need (as many working individuals do!), contact me today and see what we can work out!
Just one dog or multiple, it's not a problem. Schedule individual walks or a pack walk together so that everybody can get in on the fun. Not only will they get more exercise and fun during the day, you can even arrange for them to work on leash manners and basic obedience for a well rounded companion.
I believe all dogs have the potential to be amazing, thus have no breed or size restrictions. All ages are welcome; from newly adopted puppies to long time best friends."
We here at HDT strive for perfection and the best quality service we can provide. Our goal is to provide you with a calmer, less destructive dog who has achieved more manners than before coming to us. We offer 4 different types of services all revolving around mental and physical exercise for your pup.
1. Dog Walking - This 30 minute long walk will allow your dog to get energy out and learn basic leash commands. This service is aimed at both mental and physical exercise, and will provide your home a little bit more peace and quiet than before you enlisted HDT!
2. Exercise Runs - Another great 30 minute option, exercise runs are geared towards the dog who is high energy, overly-excitable, and always ready to get those muscles working. A little bit of mental work happens on these runs in terms of keeping good leash manners and working on running with a handler as opposed to near a handler. Physical exercise is really the main goal here, to boost their physical fitness and again, provide you with a calmer dog.
3. Walk&Train - Here you see the first training option with HDT. Walk&Train is the idea session for folks who are looking for a dog to go camping with, hiking with, or traveling. But yes, this also will give you a well rounded home companion. These longer 1 hour sessions really put your dogs mental and physical abilities to the test: focusing on leash manners, exercise, and basic obedience commands.
4. Urban Training - The last service we offer are our 100% training sessions. These sessions will only last 30 minutes and focus solely on basic obedience commands.
