My name is Lauren and I'm the owner/ manager of Fur Kids Pet Services. I have been caring for pets for 18 years. I started training labrador retrievers for hunting and field trials with my father, when I was just a child. I wanted to continue to work with animals so I worked at various dog daycares and boarding kennels, when I was a teenager to continue my experience. I learned how to be a professional groomer at a boarding facility that I worked at when I was 17. I later became a veterinary technician at a local small animal clinic. I decided I wanted to further my education with dogs, so I went to Animal Behavior College to become an ABC certified trainer. After I graduated I opened up my own business, Fur Kids Pet Services, to do basic obedience training, behavior modification and later Pet Sitting and Dog Walking. Pet Sitting gave me the wonderful opportunity to be with animals all of the time! I get to walk them, play with them and just be surrounded by them all of the time.. definitely the job of my dreams! Fur Kids Pet Services has been in business for two years now and I hope to have many more great years to come!
