About the business
Foundations First Online Tutoring provides students with an alternative to traditional tutoring. In addition to weekly sessions with a certified teacher, we also provide comprehensive instructional videos and interactive lessons that allow students to preview, practice, and apply Common Core English Language Arts Standards. Students are able to work at their own pace and build confidence that will carry over into the classroom. Each week, the students meet in a virtual classroom with a certified teacher to apply the standards that were previewed earlier in the week. All lessons are researched-based, aligned with Common Core, and follow the Learning Focused Schools Framework. Students are assessed before they begin the program and after each lesson to measure growth. The best part is ALL of this takes place in the comfort of their own home!!
