Welcome to Skyler's Music Studio! Being a singer and an artist takes dedication and hard work. It is always beneficial to have someone on your side that values your craft and helping you bring out the best you! Taking control of your learning experience, while singing your favorite songs will be a growing experience for you! Lessons are student led, so you get to choose your own songs and create your own goals! Past students have had goals that ranged from preparing to record an album to just wanting to sing well at karaoke night.

Vocal lessons will provide vocal technique that is based on classical training, so you can sing various styles with ease. Vocal coaching will be provided to enhance the delivery of the song, so you can prepare for possible performances. Audience technique will be taught, so proper etiquette is used depending on the genre of music. As a current artist in the R&B field, Skyler will also assist in artist development. Warm-ups will be exercised in the beginning of each lesson to strengthen breathing, range, phrasing, etc. Lessons will be accompanied by a keyboard, a ukulele, and/or backing tracks. For recording artists, recommendations for recording studios and opportunities may be offered. For songwriters, songwriting lessons can be incorporated into the lesson time.

Skyler's Music Studio also provides beginner's piano lessons and music theory lessons! It is always important for musicians to know at least basic theory, to be thoroughly successful in their field. Also, learning the piano is a very common and basic instrument for singers and songwriters. It can be utilized to compose, or to help you learn to stay in key. Your first lesson will be a free trial, so you can see if the lessons will be a good fit for you!
