Coach Williams earned several awards and accreditation over the past 23 years for both swimming and volleyball. Coach Williams qualified for the State championship at the age of 13, after just two years of swim training, for her talent in the backstroke. In high school, while competing on the Varsity swim team all four years, she was acknowledged as one of the Top 3 highest scorer's on the women's team. She was also highlighted on the local news as a Sophomore for her competition in backstroke. Her Junior and Senior year she competed on the the women's Medley Relay's for her contribution in the backstroke.
While competing in volleyball, Megan was honored with several awards ranging from being a part of an undefeated Freshman team, earning the Gatorade Will to Win award as a Sophomore, traveling with the Varsity team as a Freshman and Sophomore to the State Qualifying games. Megan was honored at the Breakfast of Champions event and was chosen by the Varsity Coach to be a representative for the Athletic Advisory Counsel. Her Senior year she transferred to the biggest school in the state of Oregon, was an ATHENA leader, walked on the the Varsity team as a setter before qualifying to compete at the State Championship Tournament in 2003, where her team ranked 7th. Coach Williams has maintained certification in CPR, First Aid and Lifeguarding. She is also an NFHS certified coach trained in concussions and injury prevention. Coach Williams has also been cleared by Livescan and TB screen in order to coach youth sports.
