My apologies, this is long but please bear with me. My 2- and 3-year-old children came from a previous horrible daycare with very incompetent workers. There they picked up terrible habits (like food throwing, violence, cursing, and disrespect) making us feel like incompetent neglectful parents.
Before finding Dee's Busy Bee's we actually went to a different in-home provider who stated not even after 2 weeks that she could not handle my children and abruptly dropped them. Now a part of Dee's, in just one month, we noticed a significant change not only in our kids attitudes but their intellectual level! As soon as we found Dee's daycare and toured it with the director, Mrs. Dee, we fell in love with the establishment!
My children LOVE attending daycare now, and even get upset when they cannot go on weekends! I love receiving personal pictures, text message updates, their artwork is incredible and most importantly seeing their cognitive development flourish!
Previously, my 3-year-old son spoke but was not always understood. Now, he is speaking clearer, he counts correctly, and he loves making shapes (correctly) with his Little Genius set at home.
I cannot express enough gratitude to Dee, along with her family working within the daycare for all their love and understanding for our family. They worked WITH us, and the behaviors from the previous daycare have not been an issue which shows that the staff is kind and patient. They are all willing to take the time to work with the children (and willing parents) rather than sending home constant bad reports or ignoring bad behavior that carries over to home life. I would absolutely recommend this daycare!

Dee's busy bee's has been my daycare provider for over 2 years now and I have nothing but positive things to say about them. If you want a daycare that feels like a big family and suppports early child development this is your place.

I wouldn't know where to begin.Nothing i would pen down would be sufficient praise or even mildly accurate description of my baby's other home.The care we both recieved is not only textbook but also warm, compassionate and impeccable.
The whole team has become family,i look foward to seeing them each morning.They are all so kind and treat my little boy with so much love and attention,he lights up when he arrives.The other parents and i are so lucky to be a part of this great family.
They will have to drag me bitting and scratching when the time comes to move on to preschool,we intend to stay here till high school!
Ps.The record keeping ,my goodness,even NASA would be impressed and the CRA put to shame!!.

We loved Dee's Busy Bee! My daughter always seemed so happy there. We felt like family. Drop off and pick up was so easy and fast. The environment is like Disney..... each room has a them like toy story or under the sea. They decorate for the holidays. We were sad to leave them.

Classy! Absolutely the classiest, cleanest, and most caring daycare I have, or you will EVER encounter! Extraordinary warm services, environment, and staff; all are nothing less than amazing. Dee has mastered the craft of creating a calm, serene, and tranquil environment for both children and parents.
Our family has been blessed to be a part of Dee's family for close to a year now never once witnessing a single moment of chaos.

This is the daycare I wish I had found before my son was born! We went through two big centers before we found them. My son went here from age 2 until 5. Their home daycare is welcoming, clean, organized, comfortable, and oh so cute! Their recent remodel showcases how much heart these wonderful people but into the children that they care for in their home. I would wholeheartedly recommend this daycare to all of my family and friends.

My son began to attend Dee's Busy Bee's when I decided to go back to college. Not only were they close by to our home and my college but they made me feel at ease with my the care of my child. My son fell in love with them and all the other children over the next year and a half. My son was devastated when he learned he would have to leave his beloved daycare to start kindergarten. They left such a imprint on his and my heart. They are a great daycare that cares for the families and show it They provide healthy meals, outdoor time everyday, early education, crafts, and cleanliness of the toys and whole daycare. Even after my son started school they continue to keep in contact with us. I HIGHLY recommend this amazing daycare for anyone who wants the best for their child.

Our son has been attending Dee's Busy Bees Daycare for almost two years. My wife and I never thought we would find such a wonderful place. I have never seen such a great daycare. Dee's attention to detail is impeccable and she loves the kids as if they are her own. The professionalism, development of the kiddos, activities, etc. are renown. Her daycare is a breath of fresh air. We will always use Dee's. I was disappointed to see a negative review below from "Williams" but this is not true in my opinion. I can vouch for this most amazing place personally over the past two years. You cannot go wrong! I am a lifetime member!! Thank you Dee for your wonderful care of our son.

Coming from someone who grew up in many dacecares, I can see the love Dee has for the children. Never have I seen such dedication towards childcare. Dee makes the children's environment fun and the children are happy to come back.

Dee runs a tight ship. She is very well organized, her record keeping is extraordinary, and her professionalism is exceptional. But more than that, for Dee it's not just a business. Each child becomes a part of her family, certainly regardless of ethnicity. We are a proud military affiliated African American family and Dee goes above and beyond to make everything so special for all the children, celebrates seasons, birthdays, new milestones, and the holidays are just amazing there! My cousin referred me to Dee's Busy Bee's after she had cared for my niece until she became kindergarten ready. My niece Evie, who is now 7, never lets an opportunity to visit Dee pass!
We've made Dee as much a part of our family as she has made us apart of hers. She is truly one of a kind, honest, loving, and is a passionate care giver to every child that enters through her doors. As a duel military family ourselves, our hours are often rigorous and definitely way more unpredictable than not, but because of Dee's personal experience as a prior service member and as a current military spouse her generosity and understanding of these life obstacles has been limitless. I often feel guilty about the imposition we put on her. Dee has never let us down and goes to her best effort to accommodate our family, our schedule, our questions, and any of our parenting concerns.

I am honestly disappointed in this location. My husband and I were in need of a daycare asap with the exception I was starting work within two weeks. We saw this location on yelp and the reviews were wonderful so we called Mrs Dee to see about an opening. Well we were told there was a spot available. My husband and I set up a date to go and visit. The place was lovely well tended to etc. Mrs dee gave us the paperwork to be filled and returned back. Well a few days later my husband was emailed saying a previous family who's child was all ready attending were expecting and didn't know it. So they wanted to use there spot. Cool that's understandable, but my husband and I felt a little discrimination because as of August 2017 you have two available spots one being an infant spot that we needed in July. So with us being both military I had to take an additional month which was August because we were under the impression that spot was taken. Thank goodness we were able to find something, but my husband and I aren't pleased with being lied to especially when the situation could've caused me having to get out the military.

We've just received news today that one of our toddler parents is pregnant and due in Dec. Since I'm never certain when my next availability will be, they don't want to let this infant opening I have now slide by. I do give priority to my current families and they've chosen to reserve the placement. I realize the importance of familiarity and stability to an infant. I wouldnt want Sahara to get used to being here, all too then in a few months have you unfortunately need to transition her again somewhere else. I immensely apologize for this situation and do wish you the very best of luck finding a location that works for your family. Take Care

I very much appreciated your understanding. As always explained to applicants I have no predictability of what my availability will be months ahead. I did not have an infant opening in July as you needed.
As you saw in late August (due to a family military transfer) a different infant (and toddler) slot became available, and was then advertised at that time. If you would have reached out to me I would have been more than happy to reconnect with you over the availability.
I am deeply disheartened that the word discrimination can be smeared so nonchalantly without a definition of why or how you felt discriminated. My home is vastly multi-cultured, color is only recognized on flash cards here and my husband is Army retired. We pride ourselves in now being able to serve our country in a different forum by helping what military families we can.

I was extremely nervous when it came time to place our first child into daycare at 3 months old, but Dee put us and our son at ease right away. She thoroughly explained her philosophy, care style, and the importance of communication. She was more than happy to answer any questions we had. She believes it's just as important to develop a happy and healthy relationship with the parents as with the children - as she says, we are entrusting her with our lives and hearts. She was sensitive to the apprehension that any parent feels leaving their child with someone new (especially their first child) and sent me photos by text message throughout the first few days.
Dee was caring and playful with our little one from the moment she met him. Her love for the children (and their love for her and Dee's family) is obvious with every interaction: every morning our little one is excited to see Dee and smiling when we pick him up. She also worked with our son to establish good napping practices, helped introduce him to solid foods, and is always happy to offer advice or answer any questions we had. I recommend Dee's Busy Bee's whole-hardheartedly and without any reservations!

I can not say enough good things about Ms Dees and her family. They are amazing! I was so scared to put my son in another daycare after many bad experiences but I was so glad I found her. She showed him so much love and so did her family. My son would come home everyday talking about how much fun he had. We were super sad when he sstarted school last year and we had to leave. But we still go by just to visit. They feel like family now! If we ever decide we need a night away she will always be our 1st choice to care of our kids. If you want a place where your child will be loved and treated like their own then this is the place. If she has an opening jump on it. You won't find a better place then Dees Busy Bees!

One word describes Dee....AMAZING. My daughter has been with Dee since she was 2 1/2 months old. Like most mother's, I was nervous to leave my child for an entire day. However, I had no choice and had to return to work. In the beginning Dee knew I was nervous to leave my daughter so she would send text messages, videos and pictures of my daughter throughout the day to ease my concerns. She cares for my daughter like she is her own always showing her love and affection.

Conclusion to my previos review since website shut down on me- My only complaint is that she needs to update her photos on this site they have done a lot of remodeling since these were taken and made the place even better than what these pictures show! Huge Tikes Castle, Pirate Ship, Dump Truck, Space Ship, toddler size Tree House now and even a really cool construction zone for my boys to play with the Tonka's! its a really great set up for the kids a must see to appreciate.

Exceptional care and disappointed to have to PCS. I am not looking forward to finding care elsewhere because I already know nothing can come close to what we have had here. Dee is great, the whole family is! Our boys feel like they are just going to another home of theirs everyday.

Our family was so lucky to find Dee for our son's first daycare experience. Dee has put a lot of thought into her in home center which has both a great indoor and outdoor play area, its own kitchen and bathroom, as well as a great napping area. Everything is always very clean and well kept. Dee is thoughtful and caring and our son was excited to go there everyday. He literally skipped down the stairs every morning to see Dee.

Our family was with Dee for over 8 months and I couldn't phrase anything different that hasn't already been said below she is wonderful and her family is wonderful. Her husband took the time to get licensed also so when situations arise when Dee needs to make it to a dentist, doctors, etc. appointments he is able to step in for her which is a HUGE relief to have since my job is very unforgiving when it comes any time off. My son adores her teen daughter too, she has been our 1st choice go-to when my husband and I want an evening out as she too is CPR, Red Cross, etc. certified. Our family got orders to move to another Army base and finding child care as wonderful has been extremely difficult, Dee's Busy Bee's has certainly set the bar extremely high for us now!

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! Everyday an immaculate environment. inside and even outside. Dee's phenomenal with children I absolutely don't know how she does it but she does an amazing job everyday! Our family has been with Dee's for a little over a year and never once has she called in sick, overslept to our early morning Army PT schedule, or ever been unprepared for the following day. My daughter runs to her every morning and that speaks for its self. Im always at easy dropping her off and when I pick her up she's never even once had a dirty face unlike other homes and centers I have ben to where I can tell she had been a complete oversight all day.

Dee has been a part of our lives for over 10 years. We met when stationed on Schofield Barracks in Hawaii our oldest started with her when she was a year old, and then she became the caregiver of the two that followed. Dee has been an amazing presence in our lives, and we have never doubted the love she has for our children. We still remember the day we went to meet her, and we happened across another set of parents who were moving, the mother was crying because of having to say good-bye. We knew immediately this was the right place for our child, and to this day have never questioned that decision. Entrusting someone with caring for your child for the better part of a given day is a scary prospect, but time has proven that all of my children have grown tremendously in her care. The Army moved her and her family away from us and we do miss her. The care she provides is incredible and if she has an opening run for it!

Phenomenal care. Most understanding and flexible provider Ive ever had. As a military single mother my schedule is so unpredictable and Dee has never flinched to help me out. I know my baby boy is in safe hands with her and I can't think of a single thing I would change about her or her home.

Never had better! Incredible environment and an incredible provider. Dee has always been understanding and flexible to the needs of our family. Our baby boy adores her, we have never picked him up in tears or dirty like we have before with other providers. She loves what she does and it shows. If Dee has an opening available I would advise running to take it!

I have had my one year old with Dee for over six months now and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her and her daycare. It takes about 2 minutes in her home to see that she is extremely clean, organized and has so much for kids of all ages to do. What is most impressive is at the end of the day my son is always happy, well fed and rested, clean diaper and packed up to go home. I really don't know how she does it with multiple kids, but she does it well! I can tell he adores Dee just as much as she does him as he is excited to go to her every morning when I drop him off (which every mom knows is so wonderful to see and makes leaving for work so much easier). Dee is truly a wonderful person and we couldn't be happier. She has been flexible, very receptive to my little requests regarding my son, and always willing to help out and give advice. Most importantly when I drop him off I know he is in a safe and clean learning environment.

FINALLY! I am so happy Dee finally opened an account where personal reviews can be written and read! Our relationship with Dee began back in 2005 when her business was located on the Army base of Schofield Barracks, HI since their family and as ours was stationed there this is how we met. As I have read through the previous reviews I know that her business, her character, and her values are every bit the same as they were for us back then as they are here for your families today. She cared for our girls for at least 2-3 years on the island and when we left we wished we could take her too. Our daughters that she cared for are now 12 and 13 and terrific is an understatement. Our girls absolutely loved her and we have kept in touch throughout all these years, she included us into her family and she has never left ours. Dee was there throughout their milestones and through small pictures and videos she provided us it always made us feel as if we were never missing a moment of the girls growing up. Any family would be lucky to have them include her into theirs!

My daughter was with Dee for 11 months and our family has never been anything but pleased with her care and involvement with her. We purchased a new home forcing the distance to her home and back to be too much distance for us. We were very disappointed to have to leave Dee's care.
Dee's cleanliness is amazing as she always makes sure that the children are clean and makes sure that her entire daycare is clean and purified at all the times. She helped my daughter learn to walk and on countless occasions offered her knowledge and experiences to me helping me better understand childhood. Her opinions and suggests were always suggestions never like how other providers will force their views and beliefs on you. She also provided good healthy meals and never failed to teach and help her clients. She was always open to listening and biding by our upbringing wishes. Our family is vegetarian and Dee always made sure those wishes were upheld. I have been with quite a few daycare providers and there is certainly none as good as her. We have had an amazing experience with her.

Dee cared for our children as if they were own for several years until the military transferred us. At Dee's there was always a sense of comfort when we dropped them off at her daycare. Always organized, caring, professional, and CLEAN. Knowing that our children were happy and in a safe, nurturing environment took a huge weight off of our shoulders. Dee made us apart of her family as much as we made her apart of ours. She always provided home-made food with healthy snacks which was awesome (especially since our busy lifestyle left a lot to be desired in the category of healthy). Her potty training skills are phenomenal! Our son was literally fully potty trained with her in 2 weeks with her consistent training technique! (She was so great at helping us discover that potty training is more about parental training of maintaining dedication to a consistent routine!)
Another thing we love about Dee is her involvement with the parents -- Occasional picture messages always made my day to see how happy they were or what they were doing for the day.
She was always available for us and any concerns we had. We are blessed to have found Dee and are confident that anyone reading this review will also share the same experience.
