Cozy Critters Pet-Sitting & House Sitting is a small business that services all types of pets, & that is made up of experienced, trained, caring, kind, & patient animal lovers. Our owner, Jennifer Holata, began volunteering at the Humane Society of Broward County in Davie and Coral Springs in her later high school years, over 20 years ago. There, she was trained in animal general care, the importance of noticing and keeping pets' stress levels in check, medication-administering, dog-walking, and in college, she studied animal psychology.-----In addition, 'Cozy Critters Pet Sitting & House-Sitting' employs a licensed massage therapist with almost 10 years experience who is CERTIFIED in ANIMAL RELAXATION/ THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE for all types of animals. ------We believe in 1) MOST IMPORTANTLY: your pet(s) safety & comfort while you are away, & firmly believe that taking the animal out of its own home-environment ONLY FURTHER STRESSES your furry family member(s). Even if you cannot be there to care for them, your pets are extremely accustomed to the environment they live in, the sights, smells, and neighbors (both animal & human:) in their neighborhood. Keeping this constant is essential in keeping your pet(s) as comfortable as possible while you are away. ----To start, we insist on "meeting" your pet(s) before the dates we will be responsible for them, so they can get used to us, even if briefly, this makes a big difference, and also, so we can meet you and so you and your spouse, partner, or family can see us interact with your pet(s) & get a solid sense of security as well. ----Then, while you are away, whether it is for the day, a week while at work, or away on vacation, we work hard to keep your pet's routine as similar to the routine you keep with them, as possible. ----Also, beforehand, we can discuss any extras you would like your pet to have: like swim time, massage time, music time, TV/movie time, play-dates with other local pets, OR anything else you'd like to have done. (All employees are fully trained in medication-administration as well.) -----No request is too much to help make your pet(s) feel good in our care!-----Of course, we are referenced in house-sitting, which often comes with the pleasure of pet-sitting, and we are LICENSED & INSURED as well.
