About the business
I am a licensed elementary education school teacher grades 1-8. I have nine years of computer teaching classroom experience as well as many years working as a substitute teacher. I have also worked as a tutor while going to college and was the Director of Education at a Sylvan Learning Center. I currently own my own computer training business in Painesville, Ohio.
My approach to teaching is that it should feel like a fun discussion, rather than an unpleasant task. I like to provide students an opportunity to be emotional in their work and engage in critical thinking by creating enjoyable activities out of difficult material. I believe that passionate instruction is one of the most critical elements of learning, and I hope to provide that to all students I train. I am interested in helping children and adults learn valuable computer skills. I am also interested in helping students achieve through one on one tutoring.
